About my Practice

Recognizing that divorce is one of the most challenging and stressful experiences you can have in life, my approach to coaching is one of compassionate action. I guide my clients through effective stress reduction techniques while they get accustomed to the many changes divorce brings. We work together on the tools they need to communicate effectively, get organized for legal and financial needs, and find ways to create a future that will serve them best.

The ultimate goal is to ensure my clients have clarity, peace of mind, and confidence as they navigate the divorce process. When we accomplish these goals, my clients save time and money with their attorneys, create plans that work for them and their children, and develop a healthy outlook for a happy future.

Background Experience

After struggling through my own divorce, unsure of what I needed, intimidated by the process, overwhelmed, frustrated, and afraid, I realized the missing link in my support team was a divorce coach (or, what I was calling a ‘divorce doula’). Once I made it to the other side of the process, I was determined to help others avoid the same difficulties I experienced. That’s why I became a CDC Certified Divorce Coach®.

As the mother of four, I’m particularly interested in helping parents create a co-parenting plan that’s in the best interest of their child(ren). I help clients achieve a sense of well-being that is often lacking during the chaos of divorce. Conflict resolution, self-care, and goal setting are essential aspects of my coaching practice in addition to helping clients get organized for financial planning and legal guidance.

With a master’s degree in communications, I can provide practical guidance on conflict resolution and tools for more effective communication. As a yoga and meditation practitioner, I share techniques that help with stress reduction, confidence building, and self-care. My combined education and experience lend themselves to helping others, which is what I love to do most!
