I became Certified as a CDC Divorce Coach in 2023, and I find helping anyone going through the divorce process extremely rewarding and my way of giving back. I am the founder and CEO of “Stronger Than You Think Coaching LLC” and I specialize in Divorce Coaching & Recovery Coaching.
I myself went through an extremely toxic, high-conflict divorce about 10 years ago, and found myself lost, alone and a single-parent to my young children. Although I came out so much stronger, the process was a nightmare and I simply wish I knew about Divorce Coaching, as it would have spared me time, money and my overall well-being.
I have worked professionally for over 20 years (Counseling & Educator/Lecturer) helping people. For Divorce Coaching, I specialize in High-Conflict Divorces, Substance Abuse, Mental Health, and Domestic Violence. I am very empathic, non-judgmental and extremely compassionate to everyone I work with.

Darleen has 20+ years of professional experience since graduating with her Master’s Degree. Darleen has had a variety of careers, all centered around helping people. Darleen first started out her career as a Public High School Health Teacher. After several years of teaching, Darleen moved on and became a Licensed Counselor in the mental health & substance abuse field, which she has been doing for the past 15 years. Darleen holds a CASAC-Masters license in N.Y. and presently works at Stony Brook Hospital and a private outpatient facility. In addition, Darleen is an adjunct lecturer at CHI Professional Development, Inc. and teaches live Zoom classes for professionals looking to obtain continuing education credits. Darleen is excited to add Professional Coaching as part of her journey helping people going through separation/divorce, or those adding Recovery Coaching to enhance their sobriety.
