I’m a Divorce and Parenting Coach, Attorney, Mediator and Social Worker. I specialize in working with parents who’re raising a child with special needs and who may be contemplating divorce. They’re typically Moms who’re working hard to determine what’s best for their families. I help them develop the resilience and confidence they need to handle whatever comes their way, knowing they’ve provided the very best for their children.
And if you’re not contemplating divorce, it’s still a struggle to navigate the complex medical, therapeutic, educational and legal systems. You’re constantly getting calls and requests for meetings from teachers, therapists and care providers. Because programs and services are siloed, information and advice tend to be disjointed, spotty and even contradictory. So you’re left confused and overwhelmed, wondering if you’re doing the right thing.
The landscape of what is or isn’t working constantly changes as your child encounters new people, new situations and progresses through the stages of development. The questions and second-guessing are never-ending and you keep asking yourself: Is this the right school, the right program, the right therapy, the right medical approach? Are we missing something? Decisions begin to feel high-stakes and you become fearful that a misstep will have a devastating impact on your child’s and family’s outcomes.
It’s extremely overwhelming and can feel like you’re stuck in a perpetual holding pattern that extends to all aspects of your life. You worry . . . Will my other children be okay? How will my family pay for all of this? How will I have the energy to work, care for myself and my family? Is this what the rest of my life is going to look like?
As a divorced co-parent to a gender and neuro-diverse child, as well as a neurotypical child, I understand how you feel. I know how easy it is to be overwhelmed by the uncertainty and loneliness of having to search for and cobble together the unique schools, services and medical interventions for your child with special needs while trying to care for the rest of your family and attend to your own needs.
And that’s where I can help. I have the expertise and training to help you get clear on what’s important to you and sort through the challenges you’re facing. I’ll help you find the information, support and resources you need to make the best decisions possible.

I am a Certified Divorce Coach, Certified Transition and Recovery Coach, Attorney Licensed in New York State (Attorney Registration Number 2981991), Licensed Master Social Worker in New York State (License No. 101083), and Mediator. I grew up in Webster Groves, Missouri, and currently reside in New York City. I am a divorced co-parent to two teenagers. I have professional training and personal experience with separation and divorce, addiction in family members, gender diversity, and neurodiverse children.
Before starting my own mediation practice, I was an associate attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP and Wollmuth, Maher & Deutsch LLP. After taking time off from the practice of law to parent my two children, I obtained a master’s degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. My field of practice was Child Welfare: Children, Youth and Families, an area devoted to providing the protection, assistance, and environment most necessary to promote a child’s well-being and full participation in family and community life. After directly experiencing the value of mediation through my own divorce process, and understanding the large emotional and financial toll litigation can have on litigants and their families, I combined my areas of expertise to assist divorcing or separating couples and their families through this difficult process. In addition, I became a Certified Divorce Coach and Certified Transition and Recovery Coach after noticing significant gaps in services for people who are contemplating separation or divorce or who are already moving through one of those processes and need additional information and support to navigate it successfully and in a cost-effective manner.
I offer a free 45-minute Discovery Session to discuss your needs and concerns, gain clarity on your best path forward, and explore whether divorce coaching would be useful for you. This meeting is in service of supporting you and there is absolutely no obligation associated with it.
If you determine that you would like to work with me as your coach, and I think that I can help you, we will also discuss working together on terms that best meet your needs.
