About my Practice

I believe change can be more graceful, and I am passionate about focusing on coaching for individuals, facilitating personal development, and helping others move through transition with resilience. An approach of self-discovery, whole-life coaching, and developing a values-centered authenticity drives my focus.

As a Certified Appreciative Inquiry (AI) facilitator, I work with individuals using proven AI change techniques to help them envision a more enriching future – and figure out how to achieve it. I am trained in the Conversations Worth Having methodology, which helps clients map out strategic conversations with others when stakes are high. Along the way, I help clients develop more holistic behaviors – gratitude, mindfulness, and wellness among them – that ultimately lead to more fulfilling lives.

In addition to being a Certified Divorce Coach and a Chartered Career Coach, I trained as a personal coach with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), as a relationship and systems coach with the Center for Right Relationship (CRR Global), and as a Narrative Coach Practitioner with founder David Drake. I am certified in the holistic Seasons of Change coaching approach, and am a Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach in-training. Add my in-depth study of The Circle Way, Art of Hosting, and Holding Space disciplines and the result is a diverse and blended approach.

My certifications include various psychometric instruments, including personality, emotional intelligence, conflict, resilience, archetypes, and change styles, all of which provide additional tools to encourage personal growth and self awareness.

I bring a rich background of writing, public relations, project management, and the arts to my work, layered atop a bachelor’s degree in English and history and a master’s in Journalism/Public Relations. My blog, 365 Grateful, is at jcrowcoaching.group.

Philosophy: Change Can Be a Graceful Process. But it doesn’t happen by accident.

It requires a combination of change techniques, coaching, and a focused approach on positive and expansive growth factors rather than root cause problem-solving – in other words, appreciative inquiry. Because change encompasses all areas of life, I advocate for and coach individuals around claiming a holistic, mindful approach to navigating change, being resilient, and living well.

I believe it’s that appreciative approach, mixed generously with whole-life development and very specific approaches to transitions, that creates more graceful change – for divorce, career transition … pretty much every part of life.

Each approach immerses participants in a deep dive to find their authenticity, establish community, foster relationships, and discover paths to enhancing their own well-being. Clients create more meaningful connections, live more mindfully, and navigate change with resilience. They also learn to purposefully choose being their best selves living their best lives.
