About my Practice

I specialize in working with women who are navigating the often painful, confusing path of divorce – but want it to culminate with strength, peace, and ultimately – JOY.

Divorce is said to be the second most traumatic life event, only behind the death of a loved one. You don’t need to walk through this one alone. I’ll help you save time, money, and emotional stress during the divorce process so when you’re done with this chapter you have no regrets, believe in yourself, and feel confident that you can cultivate the best new beginning for your life.

Together we will:

  • Establish your “best self” so you can take the high road
  • Instill confidence in your decision-making ability
  • Untangle difficult conversations & manage conflicts
  • Tame hot buttons & triggers so you can manage your emotions
  • Discover possibilities and choices that put you in the driver’s seat
  • Learn skills to negotiate healthfully
  • Navigate the “business of divorce” – process, attorneys, finances and more
  • Create the vision of your best self and your new beginning

The hardest step; is the first one – reaching out. I’ve got you from there.

Background Experience

You are ready to live your life with JOY!

I believe it’s possible to cultivate joy through life’s toughest chapters. Whether you’re navigating divorce, trauma, transition, or grief –  you can emerge on the other side with resilience, strength, and the energy to write the best next chapter of your life.

It’s possible and you can do it. But you don’t need to do it alone.

I know because I’ve been there.

After suffering a life changing trauma and divorce, my life felt like it completely fell apart. It felt like I lost everything…But what happened, wasn’t the end… it was actually the beginning. A beautiful beginning. It was in this season of life that Cultivating Joy became my anchor and my hope. I realized that I could be hurt, sad, bitter, and a victim for the rest of my life. Or, I could use this fertile ground I was on to plant seeds of goodness in this season of grief. It was through this hard work that I fell in love with my life again.

What does Cultivating Joy Mean?

Cultivating Joy became my anchor and hope in my own journey through trauma and divorce.
Cultivating is a verb, an action, that means to prepare, to break up in preparation for planting, to acquire or develop.
Joy is a hard-fought, deep peace, knowing that in times of goodness or grief that life is still good. And you’re still the author of the next chapter.

Trauma and divorce is often a time when everything feels chaotic, in turmoil, things are broken up. There is no greater time to take advantage of the fertile soil and begin the process of cultivating joy than this time. Together we will answer the question – What do I need to do to care for the part of me that’s been injured? We will care for your soul, heal your wounds, ignite the sparks of hope, begin to dream again, and help you emerge as the person you want to be.

I want to help YOU cultivate your life of joy, too.

Let’s do this work together. I’ve been where you are and have hope for your life to be the life you dream it to be – full of purpose, clarity, and JOY. You can do this. I can help.

I walk alongside my clients through the first painful steps of healing from trauma, the all consuming emotional rollercoaster of divorce, and the emptiness of loss and grief. Together we reflect on the imprint of the past, navigate the next steps, learn new responses, discover possibilities, reclaim your power, and reignite hope.

How It Works

Coaching is a partnership where we design a plan based on your goals. We take what is inside and translate it into action goals that we accomplish step by step. Sessions take place via  Zoom or Google Meet – depending on your preferences. You may choose the frequency you prefer, most cases once a week works best in the beginning. During sessions, you set the agenda. Whether you want to work on taming your hot buttons, preparing for divorce mediation, role playing tough conversations, it’s all up to you.

Coaching works best when you feel comfortable and supported. I offer a complementary conversation so that we can get to know each other. This is a no pressure conversation and usually lasts between 30-60 minutes. Feel free to email, text, or call if you’d like to connect.
