As a CDC Certified Divorce Coach, my mission is to help professional mothers who have filed for divorce, are struggling with alienation and overwhelm, and desire to move beyond their divorce with confidence, dignity and compassion. Whether you are coming out of a heterosexual or a same-sex marriage, women experience different challenges and concerns than their male counterparts.
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with over 17 years of experience in healthcare, and a divorced mother of young children, I know what it is like to have a high-powered career while going through divorce. You are highly educated, proficient and well-respected in your workplace, but are finding it challenging to deal with the new, often unpredictable changes that you are encountering through and beyond the divorce process. If you are divorcing as a same-sex couple, you may be encountering confusion around underdeveloped family law relevant to your situation, making your experience that much more stressful and frustrating. You don’t speak the language of divorce, but you know you want to proceed without causing irreparable harm to your children, and to avoid aggressive attorneys, expensive legal costs, and financial turmoil. You would like to be able to look in the mirror once this is all over and know that you conducted yourself with confidence and grace, without guilt and regret, both through your divorce process and into your future life.
You have an amazing circle of support from friends, family and colleagues, but right now you feel they don’t understand what you are going through, and their feedback isn’t always wanted or helpful. As your Coach, I function as a sounding board, creative thinking partner and advocate for you as you navigate the unfamiliar territory of divorce, co-parenting and newly single life. When we are stressed and overwhelmed, we often fall into thinking patterns that can hinder us from making the best decisions for ourselves and our children. Together we can work through the challenges you are experiencing in your divorce process, so that you can move forward into creating the life you’ve always wanted.
I provide individual coaching sessions, group coaching sessions and monthly workshops to help you get organized, work through your obstacles, and make plans for your future. Contact me today to talk about what services are right for you.

“Kelly helped me to identify my fears and things that I could own, then offered alternative language for me to use to communicate my needs. She reminded me of the strength I have within me and encouraged me to use tools to manage my fears and worries. Kelly validated me as a person and a mother during an intensely painful and confusing time. She has the ability to listen with logic and reason, but also employs a delicate balance of compassion and empathy without enabling behaviors that could feed fear.”-M.R.
“I met Kelly when she was experiencing her own divorce several years ago. I was impressed with her personal strength, spiritual courage and emotional poise. Under her skillful, nurturing guidance, our group sessions empowered the participants, myself included, to make positive, necessary changes in our personal and professional lives. Kelly is a natural leader who is greatly loved and appreciated by those fortunate enough to know her and seek her counsel.” -P.J.
