About my Practice
In 2000, I received my Masters in Counseling from Regent University. I then wed, and had 4 children which I intended to homeschool until they graduated.  During my time as an at home mom, I stayed additionally busy creating ministries supporting women and moms.
However, in 2016, my life took an unpredictable turn which diverted me from the path I believed I was on and I went through a high conflict divorce.
Knowing I needed to support myself financially, I created my company, CoachingHope4U, LLC, to inspire and educate women who had been betrayed in their relationships.
I pushed through my grief and trauma and earned my Life Coach Certification (BCC), completed A Door of Hope training – certification for group facilitator for betrayed partners (ADOH), obtained my Association for Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists certification (APSATS), attended Brainspotting training, obtained the certification helping couples through the Early Recovery Couples Empath Model (ERCEM) and finally wrapped up with this CDC certification.

Through my years of experience working with attorneys in the arena of high conflict divorce, I am equipped to offer a unique perspective combining trauma management with court knowledge.  I also created the blog, Not a Casserole Widow, to give divorcing partners a voice.

Because the experience of betrayal and living in a covertly (or overtly) abusive relationship can feel deeply lonely and scary, I want you to know you aren’t alone.  Most women I work with are enduring PTSD and other trauma related symptoms which need to be addressed and healed through out the divorce process.  Support is here.

Background Experience

I coached a unique niche of clients for the past 5 years which include women who have partners who betrayed them through infidelity.  My website, CoachingHope4U, supports a variety of healing services for partners.  It became increasingly clear that the nuances behind high conflict situations need to be specifically addressed.  I have worked with Lundy Bancroft, author: Why Does He Do That?, Barbara Steffens, author: Your Sexually Addicted Spouse, Omar Minwalla, creator: The Minwalla Model, and a variety of coaches, therapists and attorneys who specialize in this arena.

Katelyn, OH

When I first started working with Kim, I struggled with coming to terms that I had been abused, and was therefore a victim. Through working with Kim, I have now been able to shift my view of myself from victim to warrior.

She is empathetic and draws out your thoughts behind your words. She helps you unpack things well.

Cindy, TX

“Her group is a life saver.  I was terrified to put myself out there and assumed no one would get me.  She led the group into a safe place of healing, encouragement and strength.  I found my tribe.  I shouldn’t have waited so long!”
